Ceragino stems from the company’s long-standing experience and the know-how acquired in the
design of kitchen furniture for tight spaces. It is the ideal choice for any home where living space is
small; its essential design and limited overall dimensions make it suitable for installation in the centre
of a living room.
Ceragino is the answer to the need for creating a comfortable space according to a veritable minimalist philosophy: doing away with all that is not strictly necessary.
Quadro Slim is a glass partition built with a thin 15mm frame. With its glass face not divided by a middle rail and a handle integral to the frame, this noiseless partition design provides a sense of connection between spaces.
Angolo Flat is a stainless-steel wash-hand basin designed for bathrooms with tight space constraints, e.g. for shops and bachelor apartments. Its minimal size realized by a stainless-steel top panel with a round sink allows for effective use of space even in a narrow wash-hand space. The top panel made of a 3mm-thick stainless-steel plate gives the sink both durability and a pleasant appearance.
Evaluation of the Jury
The Angolo Flat wash basin is evidence of a very functional, simple and clean design approach. The manufacturing technique, precision and surface treatment of the stainless steel allows this material, which has usually been used for the public realm, to enter the private sphere. The compact volume of the product, which makes it so useful and practical for many applications, has been achieved through basic, but effective, rationalization. This product is a superb example of a combination of minimal design and maximal functionality.
Exactly as its name Borde (“border” in Italian) suggests, this wash-hand sink unit is designed to accentuate the beauty of contrast among planes and lines (straight and curved) that form the entire unit. The unit is made of pure-white cultured marble to accentuate its aesthetic features and shadowing effects of edges and planes. The grating cover, made of the same material, also adds a sense of unity. With a simple and concise form, the unit is also convenient to use due to the counter space beside the sink.
Fine is a minimal-style washstand unit designed with simple but stylish bare frames. Fine frame structures assembled with the sink and mirror convey a simple, neat and spacious feel. Screws are concealed from the user’s view to enhance the unit’s neatness and simplicity. As the unit is assembled on site, i.e. a knockdown system, the packing size is also reduced, which can simplify the carry-in and transportation processes and reduce the amount of temporary storage space. The edges of the sink curve smoothly, thus obscuring boundaries between the sink and the top panel. The sink is 120 mm deep to facilitate usability.
Lepto Counter is the slimmest wash-hand basin that can be installed in a dead space in a bathroom. This unit can make a bathroom concise and functional. Its seamless molded unit made of cultured marble is convenient for daily maintenance. Also, the counter can be cut on site to fit into a desired space. The storage cabinet is also slim and can store toilet paper, etc.
Lepto In Wall
Lepto In Wall is a wash-hand basin that represents the Japanese craftsperson’s virtue of utilizing limited space neatly. Being Japan’s smallest super-slim wash-hand basin, it is embedded into a wall to minimize its projected dimensions and provide a concise look. The cabinet beneath the sink not only hides bare piping but also serves as storage for toilet paper. Available in jet-black or porcelain-white mirror finishing, either of which enriches the unit’s simple, stylish and flat design.
Coordi is a fashionable bathtub for coordinating and creating a bathroom with a joyful tone. With options of a flat-type and L-type detachable apron, the tub provides flexible choices for fitting into different layouts. Six smoky color variations selected from fashionable PANTON interior colors are available for the apron. The bathing space inside the tub is maximized due to the ultra-thin bathtub walls.
Tubo is a series of colored bath accessories. TUBO accessories consist of round bars only and no screws are visible for minimal and concise appearance with few decorative elements. TUBO also offers matte color variations that may blend in with bath spaces of any taste. The Made-in-Japan TUBO series realizes an optimal balance of design, functionality and manufacturability, and represents the best in Japanese technical skills.
This product is a washing bowl that is molded through “squeezing,” a technique for metal machining that is used, e.g., to mold the tip of a shinkansen (bullet train). Squeezing is an original manufacturing method involves pressing a spatula-like bar against a rotating metal plate, and molding the plate by applying a squeezing force to it. The hemispheric bowl manufactured through spinning has a nearly perfect circular form. The highly simple form, as well as wave-like circular patterns proper to squeezing, has a beauty of universal appeal.
Ospole is a functional gate pole that integrates the functions of an intercommunication phone and a mailbox. Its extremely simple design harmonizes with house facades and space designs for various tastes. Such features as the shape and size of the opening and the joint between steel plates are designed for a simple appearance. No nameplate is attached to the pole, to allow the designer to choose an appropriate product to suit a spatial design.
